Protein and Antibody Arrays : A powerful tool to detect molecular interactions
Protein  and Antibody Arrays address the elucidation of molecular interaction networks in protein complexes and in whole organisms, the screening of drug inhibitors to study protein-protein, protein-DNA and protein-small ligand interactions, etc ... Comparative binding affinity of wild type and mutant proteins can be evaluated with an in-house developed software. The binding affinity of the order 1 M can be monitored from attomole quantity of spotted proteins. Purified proteins from different families can be used for array fabrication.
